| Designed to easily join 2 wires together without the need for crimp terminals. Just strip back each wire, slide over the joiner, put the wires together and heat up the joiner. It will melt both, the solder for the join and shrink the heat shrink to cover. | |

The heatshrink will release a hot-melt adhesive from the colour rings, when heated to the correct temperature. This will form a waterproof seal around the solder and join (when heated correctly). Using a heat gun and moving it back and forward over the seal will provide an even shrink and allow the solder to spread evenly on the exposed cable.
