Universal head unit patch lead for connection to the DNA range of steering wheel controllers (SWC). NOTE: Use with Type C CAN bus SWC controllers with model numbers ending in (C).

Features:

This patch lead works by using a loop with a resistor from pin 12 to pin 4 to tell the interface what make of head unit is present.
The coloured loop wires provided represent the different resistor values.
Pins 2, 7 and 8 are used for the signal from the interface to the head unit.
This will be either a 3.5mm plug or a single wire, this will depend on the brand of head unit.
A 3.5mm plug and a single wire are provided, use the correct lead for the make of the head unit being fitted.
Note the orientation of the terminal to be inserted into the connector
