Each model either uses a non-blinking infra-red LED with high output or a visible red LED which has lower IR emission and the advantage of visible operation. Both the diode variants are available in a Dual or Single configuration. The emitters are housed in a miniature low profile plastic injection moulded case with a 3M adhesive strip applied to the back, with additional adhesive tabs provided in the packaging. As the use of a boot to cover the emitter can assist in preventing IR system issues, we provide one for each emitter.
