Allows you to fit a vehicles factory reverse camera to an aftermarket head unit.
Some factory vehicles use a lower voltage to trigger their factory fitted reverse camera – This voltage reducer will allow you to provide a clean 8 volt DC circuit to the camera reverse trigger, for compatibility with aftermarket 12V head units.
Comes mounted to a heatsink to stop overheating and is fitted with 30cm wire tails for easy installation.
A capacitor is also included to allow a stable current of power for cameras that require very low amperage triggers.
Can also be used on low current 8VDC volt devices with a maximum of 1 amp output.
Features only 3 wires for easy installation:
Red Wire: Connect to switched 12 volt power
Black Wire: Connect to chassis ground
White: Connect to the component turn on wire (8 volt 1 amp output)
Supplied with 1 x capacitor (Allows a stable current of power for cameras that require very low amperage triggers).
